Biography

Suzan was born in North Dighton, Massachusetts and is very proud of her New England roots that reach back to the 1600's. She grew up traveling Europe and the States in an Air Force family. Amazingly she still loves to travel. "There are always so many new things to learn and explore!"

Suzan was bitten early by the acting bug. She was convinced, at the age of four, that she would "ride the range" with Roy Rogers and Dale Evans! She never let go of the dream and now lives in New York and is a working actor.

Moving to New York is a Cinderella story come to life. Suzan gave up her job in Irving, TX, packed up her dreams and a suitcase and moved to New York with no job and no place to live. Luckily a friend from Texas had a sofa she could sleep on while she looked for her own place in Manhattan. Suzan stepped out of the U-haul in Brooklyn on a Tuesday afternoon, picked up a copy of Back Stage East on Thursday, did three auditions over the weekend and had her first show in New York on Monday! I doesn't get any better than that!

There are so many people to thank for their love and support. Suzan is very grateful for two teachers who believed in her and helped her believe in herself: Mrs Dana Jean Basco and Mrs Beth Hatch. "Without my parents, daughters and extended family none of this would be possible. Hold tight to your dreams, they really can come true!"

Suzan as studied with Sandi Shurin, Bob Luke, Harry Thompson and Jeffery Zeiner.
